No one can blame you, after all. The weather in the United Kingdom is always changing – it might be beautiful one minute, then wet, windy, or very cold the next. And after the last several years, we’ve all earned a vacation.

There are a few obvious destinations to visit in June for scorching temperatures: Egypt, Morocco, and the dependable Canary Islands (such as Tenerife).

If you want a ‘fly and flop’ trip where it’s just you, the sun, and your book on the beach, Benidorm, Costa Brava, and other coastal areas of Spain are ideal.

Check out these choices for hot, sunny June places for a few more specific (and a few surprise) options.

Temperatures range from 23°C to 30°C. Hours of sunshine: 12 Flight time is two hours and thirty minutes.

Madrid, Spain’s capital, is an excellent choice for a sun-drenched city trip.

It’ll be just the ideal amount of heat for visiting this charming city on foot, with temperatures averaging about 23°C but with the potential to surge into the 30s.

Relax at El Retiro Park, stroll through the grounds of the Royal Palace of Madrid (where the Spanish Royal Family holds formal occasions), dine at Saint Michael Market, or visit one of the several art museums.

While there are plenty of things to do in Madrid, it’s worth remembering that there are no beaches.

If you can’t wait to spend a day swimming in the water or lying on the beach, take a one-hour, 40-minute train ride to Valencia, Spain’s seaside metropolis.

Island hopping in the Cyclades couldn’t be more pleasant or beautiful.

June is a fantastic season to visit some of the beautiful Greek islands in the Aegean Sea, but don’t expect to see them all. According to Visit Greece, there are 33 islands and islets to navigate.

Santorini, with its remarkable blue-roofed white houses facing the ocean, and Mykonos, as well as Milos, Naxos, and Paros, are the most well-known.

The Virgin Mary Monastery on Amorgos is a popular destination for religious tourists. Delos, on the other hand, is an archaeological site that has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Drinks and dancing may be found on Ios, while magnificent beaches can be found on Syros, Irakleia, and Tinos.

Kimolos is a must-see, despite its modest size, since it is not only beautiful but also wonderfully relaxing and tranquil.

Jordan, a nation in the Middle East, is understandably hot in the summer.

Many travelers consider it a bucket-list location, and traveling shortly after spring may be a great time to visit since temperatures can reach 40°C in July and August.

There’s lots to do, including relaxing on a lounger by the pool at a luxury resort near the Dead Sea or by the Red Sea in Aqaba.

However, it would be a mistake to visit Jordan without seeing Petra, the UNESCO-listed Nabatean city that dates from 300 BC. The archaeological site is often regarded as one of the world’s greatest wonders, with its towering temples and red cliffs.

Then there’s the Wadi Rum desert, where you may go on an incredible trip with expert guides. Not to mention Amman, the capital.

Temperatures range from 23°C to 26°C. Flight time: two hours and 45 minutes Sunshine hours: nine to ten hours (to Bari)

In June, in the south of Italy? There’s no need for an explanation.

But, for the sake of argument, Puglia (or Apulia) is located at the heel of Italy’s famous boot shape, and it may not always get the attention it deserves.

After all, Italy has everything for everyone: history, wonderful cuisine, lovely cities, and endless beaches. There are also some well-known names, such as Rome. Sicily. Tuscany. The Amalfi Coast is a stretch of coastline in Italy.

Bari is Puglia’s principal port city, although Lecce and Brindisi are also worth visiting. They, along with neighboring places, are said to have some of Italy’s most beautiful beaches.

TUI also recommends going for a swim in the sea in June since the water temperature in the area is normally about 23°C at this time of year. Oh, such ecstasy.

You’ll be happy as punch in Puglia, too, from a culinary standpoint. Specialties include bread, focaccia, seafood, olive oil, and orecchiette pasta (also known as ‘little ears’).

They’re located in the Caribbean Sea, close off the coast of Venezuela, although they’re officially Dutch. They’re sometimes referred to as the ‘Netherlands Antilles.’

However, each island has its own distinct attraction, as well as a plethora of resort-style hotels for sun-seekers.

Aruba is a dream come true for anybody looking to relax on a powdery white sand beach, while Bonaire is a world-class scuba diving destination — and Curaçao is home to the UNESCO-listed city of Willemstad, known for its vividly colored Handelskade.

It’s worth noting that the former was Pablo Picasso’s boyhood home, with a museum dedicated to his work only a short walk from Malaga’s Roman Cathedral.

If you have the time, go to Seville, which is famous for its beautiful Moorish architecture, stunning mosaics, and for portraying Dorne in Game of Thrones.

If that isn’t enough to persuade you, the vintage-style trams meant to transport you around the city’s mountainous streets may.

You’ll also want to visit one of numerous miradouros (viewpoints) to obtain a view like the one seen above — and when you’re tired of walking about the city, you can stop for a bite of Portugal’s famous pastel de nata (custard tart).

Day visits to Sintra’s beautiful, bright-yellow castle and the town of Evora are also worthwhile if you have the time.

This isn’t a fly-and-flop excursion since it’s such a lengthy travel. Unless, of course, you want it to be. Mozambique, on the other hand, does not lack for magnificent beaches or lovely islands.

All you have to do now is schedule everything.

The Croatian islands

However, you should always make time to go island hopping after seeing city break jewels like Split, Rijeka, Pula, and Zadar.

Hvar, a resort island in the Adriatic Sea just off the lovely Dalmatian Coast, is undoubtedly the Balkan nation’s most popular tourist destination, while Bra is recognized as a windsurfing paradise with pristine white-sand beaches.

But, with over 1,200 islands and islets to choose from, your island hopping adventure is far from over. Three other islands worth seeing are Krk, Vis, and Korula.

Pag, meantime, is home to the same-named Croatian sheep-milk cheese as well as the festival destination Zre Beach. Lastovo, Ugljan, Paman, and the little, car-free Silba (which is said to be a complete sun magnet) are less well-known but equally thrilling.

There are many of sites to see in Tunisia’s capital as well; visit the famed Bardo Museum to learn about the country’s heritage and history, or Medina, which has over 700 monuments.
