1 p.m. ET | CBS Matchup rating: 67.5 | NE -2.5 spread (45)

What to look out for: The Patriots have leaned heavily on their run game in recent weeks, averaging 137.4 yards per game over their last five games and relieving some of the load off rookie quarterback Mac Jones. The Browns’ defense allows the third-fewest rushing yards (84.8) and the second-fewest yards per carry in the NFL, so running against them might be their biggest obstacle (3.5). As a result, Jones’ ability to throw it in important moments may be the deciding factor. — Reiss, Mike

A bold prediction: The Browns will score another defensive touchdown one week after Denzel Ward’s 99-yard pick-six. In a nail-biter, it will make all the difference. The Patriots are tied for sixth in the NFL with 14 turnovers. Jake Trotter’s remark

According to ESPN analytics and NFL Next Gen Stats, New England has played man coverage at the fifth-highest percentage in the NFL this season (57 percent ). And based on those looks, the Patriots have thrown nine interceptions and held opposition quarterbacks to a QBR of 43. (seventh lowest). Meanwhile, Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield has struggled this season against man coverage. He has the second-worst QBR versus that strategy in the NFL, behind only Zach Wilson.

Browns | Patriots Injuries

What you should know about fantasy: Nick Chubb of the Browns is on track to become the sixth player in NFL history to carry for 1,500 yards on less than 300 carries in a season. He finished in the top ten at the position for the third time this year. Check out the Week 10 standings.

New England has gone over the total in four of its last five games after falling under in its first four. Continue reading to learn more.

1 p.m. ET | CBS Matchup rating: 65.2 | TEN -3 spread (44)

What to look out for: The Saints have the league’s top run defense, allowing just 73.8 yards per game. Titans offensive coordinator Todd Downing, on the other hand, wants to keep the team’s run-heavy strategy from this season. The way the Titans spread the carries and how patient they are with the run game will be interesting to watch, as the rushing assault is crucial in setting up Tennessee’s play-action passing game. Turron Davenport (Turron Davenport)

Taysom Hill, the Saints’ backup quarterback, will pass and run for touchdowns while reemerging as a dangerous player for an offense that desperately needs it. He’s never had a throwing and running touchdown in the same game, which is surprising. However, Titans receivers A.J. Brown and Julio Jones will both score touchdowns. Triplett, Mike

To overtake Walter Payton (125) and tie Jim Brown (126) for 10th all-time, Titans running back Adrian Peterson needs one touchdown. Meanwhile, New Orleans running back Alvin Kamara is attempting to make it five consecutive games with a touchdown, which would be his longest stretch in a season since 2018.

What to look for: In last season’s playoffs, Washington quarterback Taylor Heinicke outperformed practically every other quarterback against the Buccaneers’ defense. In a 31-23 defeat, he completed 26 of 44 passes for 289 yards, one touchdown, and one interception while also rushing six times for 46 yards and another touchdown. Tampa Bay, on the other hand, did not expect to meet him in January and now has eight additional games of video to analyze him. ‘John Keim’

Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady will toss at least four touchdown passes, according to a bold prediction. That may sound ordinary for him (he’s played in five such games this season), but he may be without his tight end. Depending on the severity of Godwin’s ankle injury, Rob Gronkowski and receivers Antonio Brown, Scotty Miller, and Chris Godwin may be available. This season, Washington has allowed the highest passing yards per game (286.8) and 20 passing touchdowns (20), whereas Tampa Bay receiver Mike Evans had 119 receiving yards against this group previous season. He should have a huge day, but the Bucs will need Tyler Johnson, Cameron Brate, and O.J. Howard to keep contributing. Jenna Laine is a writer who lives in New York City.

Evans has the most receiving touchdowns in the NFL since Week 5, with six.

Buccaneers | Washington | Injuries

What you should know about fantasy football: The Buccaneers have had one of the top six receivers in fantasy football in each of their last four games, and they’ve had two receivers make the top six in a single week twice in that span. Check out the Week 10 standings.

Washington is 1-7 ATS overall, which is the worst record in the NFL. Continue reading to learn more.

1 p.m. ET | CBS Matchup rating: 51.7 | BUF -12 spread (47.5)

What to look for: On paper, this seems to be a winnable game for the Bills, who don’t appear to be a Super Bowl contender right now. They’ve lost two of their last three games, including an egregious defeat to the Jaguars. Fear not, Bills Mafia; the Jets are just what you need. New York’s defense ranks 32nd in terms of points allowed (31.4 per game) and yards allowed (408.1 per game), both of which are club lows. Cimini, Rich

Buffalo running back Devin Singletary will rush for 75 yards or more, and the Bills’ ground game will improve. Singletary’s carries have decreased in recent weeks, and he hasn’t rushed for more than 30 yards since Week 4. Singletary will get a chance to shine this week, with fellow running back Zack Moss in concussion protocol and coach Sean McDermott openly stating that the team’s rushing offense has to improve. The fact that the Jets have the league’s sixth-worst rushing defense (133.3 yards per game) and have allowed 15 rushing touchdowns will only help the Bills establish they can run the ball. Alaina Getzenberg is a writer who lives in New York City.

This season, Jets quarterback Mike White has a Total QBR of 60.4. Ryan Fitzpatrick, who had a 62.0 QBR in 2015, was the first Jets quarterback to achieve a QBR of 60 or above in the previous 15 seasons (min. 100 action plays).

Bills | Jets Injuries

What you should know about fantasy: In each of Buffalo’s last four road games versus the Jets, a different Bills wide receiver has scored over 21 fantasy points: Deonte Thompson, Zay Jones, John Brown, and Cole Beasley. Check out the Week 10 standings.

1 p.m. ET | 51.5 Fox Matchup Rating | DAL -9.5 Spread (55)

What to look for: The Cowboys are coming off their worst performance of the season, a defeat to the Denver Broncos, while the Falcons stunned New Orleans last week and have won three of their previous four games. What will each team’s reaction be? The Cowboys defeated Atlanta a year ago, but only with the aid of an onside kick. Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott has thrown multiple touchdown passes in five consecutive games, but he struggled against the Broncos in his comeback from a calf injury. To aid their defense against Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan, the Cowboys need Prescott and the offense to regain their form. Todd Archer is a writer.

Dan Quinn, the former head coach of the Atlanta Falcons, is facing his old club as the defensive coordinator of the Dallas Cowboys, and it’s going to be a rough day. In a real exhibition of offensive pyrotechnics from both teams, the Falcons and Cowboys will combine for nearly 800 yards of offense. Both Ryan and Prescott are expected to throw for 300 yards and three touchdowns. Michael Rothstein is a writer and producer.

Dallas receivers CeeDee Lamb and Amari Cooper have combined for 94.5 receiving yards per game and three touchdowns in four home games this season, compared to 196.5 receiving yards per game and six touchdowns in four away games. In 2021, neither Lamb nor Cooper will have a 100-yard game at home.

Falcons against. Cowboys: Injuries

What to know in fantasy football: Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts racked up 51.6 percent of his season yards (and his sole touchdown) against poor AFC East opponents during a two-week span (Dolphins and Jets). Check out the Week 10 standings.

Dallas is 7-1 against the spread this season, but it is coming off its first noncover of the year. Despite this, Dallas is a perfect 5-0 ATS in conference games. Continue reading to learn more.

Cowboys 38, Falcons 31 is Rothstein’s prediction. Cowboys 31, Falcons 26 is Archer’s choice. DAL, 74.9 percent, according to the FPI (by an average of 9.0 points)

Matchup must-reads: The Falcons may have found their identity in finding ways to win tight games… Gregory (calf) is sidelined for many weeks for the Cowboys… Cowboys’ Lamb is perplexed by the NFL’s ‘abnormal’ punishments… Quinn’s defense still needs work, but he’s reinvented himself with the Cowboys.

1 p.m. ET | CBS Matchup rating: 39.9 | IND -10.5 spread (47.5)

What to look out for: How will the Jaguars stop the Colts from running the ball? Yes, in the season finale of 2020, Indianapolis running back Jonathan Taylor carried for a career-high 253 yards against the Jaguars. But it isn’t the point. Taylor has run for at least 107 yards in four of the team’s last six games. The Jaguars aren’t horrible at stopping the run (they allow 103.4 yards per game), but the Colts rely on it more, as they rank seventh in the league with 137.4 yards per game. Mike Wells’ remark

Taylor will sprint for less than 60 yards, according to my bold prediction. He just had a 172-yard day against the Jets, but the Jaguars are allowing just 3.8 yards per carry (third in the NFL) and 103.4 yards per game on the ground. Jacksonville has struggled against the pass, but has been strong against the run, so Taylor will have a difficult time. Mike DiRocco’s remark

In two divisional matches this season, Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence has averaged 302.5 passing yards and two touchdown passes. He averages 100 less passing yards (202.7) and just four throwing touchdowns in non-division games.

Jaguars | Colts Injuries

What to know for fantasy: Colts quarterback Carson Wentz has two throwing touchdowns and no interceptions in six games this season, tying with Aaron Rodgers for the most. Check out the Week 10 standings.

1 p.m. ET | PIT -9 on the spread | Fox Matchup rating: 26.2 (42.5)

What to look out for: The Steelers have a horrible tendency of allowing opponents to linger around in the second half, as they did earlier this week when they allowed the Bears to stage a two-score comeback in the fourth quarter to grab the lead. Coach Mike Tomlin was certain that there are no FCS games in the NFL, and the Steelers will have to avoid second-half complacency against a winless Lions squad that is particularly dangerous due to its desperation. Jared Goff, the Lions quarterback, will throw for 300 yards. He has thrown for less than 300 yards in seven consecutive starts, which is tied for the longest run in the NFL this season. He has a league-low 6.1 air yards per attempt, although that is mostly due to his offensive weapons, especially at wide receiver. Regardless, Goff is coming off a bye week during which he says he was able to rest and recharge. This is the week in which he will end his streak. Eric Woodyard’s remark

Steelers running back Najee Harris has 752 scrimmage yards this season, which is the highest by any Steelers player in his first seven games since the 1970 merger.

Lions | Steelers Injuries

What to know for fantasy: Don’t let the bye week fool you into forgetting that D’Andre Swift, the Detroit running back, is on pace for 100 catches this season. In four consecutive games, he has caught at least five passes. Check out the Week 10 standings.

Pittsburgh has failed to cover the spread eight times in a row as a favorite, including in the playoffs. In that time, it went 3-5 outright. Continue reading to learn more.

Steelers 26, Lions 20 is Woodyard’s prediction. Steelers 27, Lions 23 is Pryor’s prediction. PIT, 73.6 percent, according to the FPI (by an average of 8.5 points)

4:05 p.m. ET | 60.5 Fox Matchup rating | LAC -3 spread (53)

What to look out for: Will Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert be able to capitalize on his strong performance in Philadelphia? After two consecutive disappointing efforts in losses to the Ravens and Patriots, Herbert led the Eagles to victory by completing 32 of 38 passes (84.2 percent) for 356 yards. (Despite his stellar performance, Chargers coach Brandon Staley stated Herbert was angry about the six incompletions.) Now, against the Vikings, the second-year quarterback is primed to have another great game. Shelley Smith says:

Dalvin Cook, the Vikings’ running back, will gallop for more than 100 yards and score two scores. The Chargers have the poorest run defense in the NFL (5.0 yards per carry allowed) and have given up 11 touchdowns on the ground. Cook, who has maintained his innocence in the wake of assault claims leveled against him in a civil complaint filed this week, says he intends to play. He has a chance to record his fourth 100-yard performance of the season. Minnesota can also use this game to get rookie Kene Nwangwu some offensive touches by exploiting his speed and quickness in the run game. Courtney Cronin (Courtney Cronin)

Kirk Cousins of the Vikings has thrown zero interceptions in seven consecutive road games, the longest current record by a starting quarterback. From 2020 to 2021, Tom Brady was the last quarterback to go at least eight consecutive road starts without one (nine straight).

Vikings | Chargers Injuries

What to know for fantasy: Over the last three weeks, Chargers receiver Mike Williams has accumulated 16.4 total fantasy points. He had been averaging 23.2 fantasy points per game before to that streak. Check out the Week 10 standings.

What to look out for: The Cardinals’ quarterback will once again be the center of attention. Will it be Kyler Murray or Colt McCoy in the starting lineup? Murray is still rehabilitating from an injured left ankle, and his condition for Sunday is still day-to-day, despite the fact that he is feeling considerably better this week than last. Last Sunday, the Cardinals demonstrated that they can win — and win comfortably — when McCoy is on the field. Will they be able to accomplish it again with Murray, or will he return to lead Arizona to a 9-1 record? Josh Weinfuss (@JoshWeinfuss)

The Cardinals will sack Panthers quarterback P.J. Walker six times and force him to throw three interceptions behind an offensive line that only has one starter at the position he started the season at (right tackle Taylor Moton). The line is a shambles, and Walker has a habit of taking too many risks. He’ll go up against a defense that ranks fourth in sacks (25) and third in turnovers (31). (17). David Newton is an author.

Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey has surpassed 100 scrimmage yards in three of his four games played, and his 117.5 scrimmage yards per game ranks third in the NFL. In his comeback from a hamstring injury, McCaffrey played 47 percent of the offensive plays last week.

Panthers | Cardinals Injuries

What you should know for fantasy football: Cardinals running backs James Conner and Chase Edmonds have both been top-20 backs in the same week twice this season, and top-30 backs four times. With Edmonds out with an ankle strain, this is Conner’s backfield for the time being. Conner has ten running touchdowns, which is tied for the most in the NFL (Derrick Henry). Check out the Week 10 standings.

Arizona is 7-2 against the spread this season and 6-1 in its last seven games, but Carolina is 9-3 ATS on the road under coach Matt Rhule. Continue reading to learn more.

Must-read matchups: Panthers’ Reddick demonstrates why he is ‘one of the top edge-rushers in the league’… Murray is’much better,’ according to his eyes. Return on Sunday… Watt’s role in resurrecting WWII veteran and Chicago Cardinals great Marshall Goldberg… Card’s Edmonds has a severe ankle sprain, according to a source… Newton re-signs with the Panthers.

4:25 p.m. ET | CBS Matchup rating of 73.3 | GB -3.5 spread (49.5)

What to look out for: All eyes will be on the quarterbacks, including Seattle’s Russell Wilson, who is coming back from finger surgery, and the Packers’ Aaron Rodgers or Jordan Love. The Packers won’t know if Rodgers will be able to play after spending 10 days on the COVID list until late Saturday, and if he does, how will the extended layoff affect his performance? Demovsky, Rob

With at least three sacks of Rodgers, the Seahawks’ defensive progress will continue (or Love). Given how poor their pass rush has been so far and how fast Rodgers can get rid of the ball, this is a big move. Seattle is at the bottom of the NFL in sacks per dropback, but their performance against Jacksonville was encouraging. Rodgers’ timing may be off following a fight with COVID-19 and a 10-day layoff, presuming he plays. Brady Henderson’s quote

The Seahawks are averaging 6.5 yards per play and have a 59.5 QBR with Wilson on the field this season. They are averaging 4.7 yards per play and have a 44.3 QBR without him.

Seahawks | Packers Injuries

What to know for fantasy: DK Metcalf or Tyler Lockett have been top-12 receivers in six of eight games this season. Both Seahawks receivers made it there ahead of their bye week in Week 8, and they’ll seek to build on that performance against the Packers on Sunday. Check out the Week 10 standings.

DEN -2.5 | 4:25 p.m. ET | CBS Matchup rating: 49.8 (45.5)

What to look out for: In four games this season, the Eagles have run for at least 30 yards, including two of their three victories. Jalen Hurts’ identity offers him the greatest opportunity to keep the offense flowing. Will the Eagles stick to their game plan against the Broncos? The Broncos are coming off their most well-constructed win since Peyton Manning’s retirement — a 30-18 victory over Dallas last week — but they haven’t always managed their victories properly (their 3-0 start was followed by a four-game losing streak). With a victory, they’ll enter their bye week with a 6-4 record and a chance to make the playoffs. Legwold, Jeff

The Eagles’ defense will complete an upset victory with a strip sack, according to my bold prediction. Because of the Eagles’ flimsy coverage on the back end, quarterbacks have been getting the ball out quickly. Things will tighten up on Sunday, enabling the defensive linemen to take advantage of a banged-up Denver offensive line and hunt down quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, who leads the NFL with 26 sacks against. Derek Barnett, a defensive end, will make up for a costly penalty in last week’s defeat to the Chargers with a strong effort. Tim McManus, Ph.D.

DeVonta Smith of the Philadelphia Eagles has 537 receiving yards this season, which ranks third among rookies. He’s aiming to become the third Eagles rookie since the merger to reach 600 receiving yards in his first ten games (DeSean Jackson in 2008 and Charle Young in 1973).

Eagles against. Broncos: Injuries

What to know in fantasy football: Javonte Williams and Melvin Gordon both returned top-30 value at the position for the third time in four weeks. The fantasy community wants one to stand out, but both Broncos running backs might be useful in a timeshare situation. Check out the Week 10 standings.

Three-round-NFL-mock-draft-2021

NBC Matchup rating: 55.9 | Spread: KC -2.5 | 8:20 p.m. ET (52)

What to look out for: On Sunday night, two of the game’s top tight ends, Travis Kelce of Kansas City and Darren Waller of Las Vegas, will square battle. Kelce, a six-time Pro Bowler and three-time first-team All-Pro, is aiming for his third consecutive game with at least eight receptions, 100 yards, and a touchdown against the Raiders. In his last four games versus the Raiders, he has averaged 108.0 receiving yards. Waller, who set a team mark with 107 receptions last season, is attempting to grab a touchdown pass for the third consecutive game against the Chiefs, and has four touchdowns in his previous five games versus the AFC West. Gutierrez, Paul

Kelce will catch a pair of touchdown passes, according to my bold prediction. When the tight end is the target, the Raiders have allowed a 75% completion percentage and a 95.1 QBR. Kelce has a good record versus the Raiders, with two games of 100 yards or more last season. Adam Teicher’s remark

The Raiders have allowed the second-fewest yards per attempt (6.3) in the NFL this season, behind only the Bills, while Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has averaged 6.0 yards per attempt since Week 5. (No. 31 out of 34 qualified QBs over that span).

Chiefs | Raiders Injuries

What you should know about fantasy: Hunter Renfrow of Las Vegas has been a top-27 wide receiver in four of his last six games, but he was only starting in around half of ESPN clubs in Week 9. (43 percent ). Check out the Week 10 standings.

LAR -4 | Monday, 8:15 p.m. ET | ESPN Matchup rating: 75.0 (49)

What to look out for: The 49ers’ defense was recently thrashed by Arizona’s backup unit, so how will they do against a stacked and probably enraged Rams offense coming off a loss? When opposing teams utilize empty formations, the Niners are 30th in the league in QBR allowed (88.6) and 31st in yards allowed per attempt (10.3), since the Rams go empty more than any other team in the league, the Niners had best come up with some solutions quickly. Otherwise, their best chance is to win a shootout, something they haven’t done this season. Nick Wagoner is a writer.

Prediction: The Rams’ passing game will be cranked up, and quarterback Matthew Stafford, who is coming off his worst performance of the season, will throw for more over 350 yards and three touchdowns. The 49ers’ defense has done a good job defending the pass (206.5 passing yards allowed per game, fourth best in the NFL), but they have given up 25.3 points per game on average (No. 25). Coach Sean McVay and the Rams have lost four consecutive to division opponent San Francisco, with McVay openly voicing his anger with now-former QB Jared Goff in their most recent encounter in 2020. McVay did not want to lose five games in a row against Kyle Shanahan, his buddy. Lindsey Thiry (Lindsey Thiry)

The 49ers have allowed the third-lowest pressure percentage in the NFL this season, at 24.2 percent, while the Rams have allowed the third-lowest pressure percentage (24 percent ).

Rams vs. 49ers: Injuries

What to know for fantasy: Against the 49ers, Rams receiver Cooper Kupp has never scored more than 13.1 fantasy points. He has just 15 receptions, 117 yards, and one score to show for his 142 routes ran in five career games versus the divisional opponent. Check out the Week 10 standings.

San Francisco is 0-4 ATS at home this season, including 0-3 ATS in division games. Continue reading to learn more.

Rams 32, 49ers 24 is Thirty’s choice. Rams 34, 49ers 20 is Wagoner’s prediction. LAR, 60.1 percent, according to the FPI (by an average of 3.5 points)

Must-read matchups: Stafford is one of Barnwell’s top midseason MVP contenders… The 49ers haven’t had much success with their rookie class… McGlinchey will miss the rest of the season due to a quad injury… Beckham Jr. offers star power and deep-threat potential to the Rams’ Super Bowl aspirations.
