There are three South Korean players who have made their way to the top of world football. What is it that has them leading the pack?

The “most var decisions 20/21” is a decision that could change the course of football history. The three players in question, Mane Salah and Son Heung Man, all have the potential to be the best player in their respective position.

We’ve had three seasons of VAR in the Premier League, and ESPN has looked at which players have benefited or suffered the most from it.

We’ve gone through the numbers from all 870 Premier League games thus far to see who has had the most goals disallowed, who has had teammates’ goals written off, and who has been granted goals by the VAR.

Fans of Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, keep reading. Your lads are going to get a lot of attention.

A player’s goal being called out by the VAR is the ultimate disappointment. But who has taken the brunt of the abuse? Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane of Liverpool, as well as Tottenham Hotspur’s Heung-Min Son, each had four goals disallowed.

But how does it work in practice?

Three of Son’s goals have been disallowed due to offside, with the fourth coming against Lucas Moura for Southampton.

Salah has also been called offside three times, with Roberto Firmino receiving a yellow card for handball in the build-up to Salah’s goal against Tottenham.

Mane, on the other hand, has had two goals disallowed for offside and two for handball.

Chelsea supporters may anticipate Timo Werner to be at the top of this list, but the VAR has disallowed three of his Premier League goals so far, the same amount as Manchester City’s Jesus Gabriel and another Tottenham star, Harry Kane.

Most offside goals are disallowed.

Salah and Son, with their three disallowed goals, are clearly going to be at the top of the list when it comes to offside goals exclusively.

However, as we go down the table, we notice several new faces. Mane, Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins, and Burnley’s Chris Wood are the only other players to have numerous goals disallowed for offside.

The majority of goals are not permitted (all involvements)

It’s sometimes the fault of a teammate when a goal is disallowed. They may have been offside throughout the build-up, or they may have committed a foul. When they are combined with those who have been ruled out as goal scorers, we can determine who has had the misfortune of being directly involved in the most disallowed goals.

Mane and Son are on their own, having been involved in a total of six VAR-ruled goals.

Mane was also ruled to have committed a foul before Diogo Jota scored at West Ham United, and awarded offside before Jordan Henderson’s late goal against Everton last season, in addition to the four goals he has had disallowed.

Son, on the other hand, had goals for Serge Aurier and Kane reversed because he was offside in the build-up for each, adding to his own four goals.

Next on the rankings are Jesus, Salah, Wood, and West Ham United’s Michail Antonio, who have all been involved in four disallowed goals.

Scorer with the most goals

The majority of objectives were achieved.

Vardy, Jamie 4
There are 14 players on two goals.

Arsenal supporters may despise VAR, but striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang may have a different opinion. He’s scored four goals as a result of VAR rulings, one as a result of an inaccurate offside call against Manchester United, and three more as a result of penalty-related overturns (awarded and retakes for encroachment.)

Jamie Vardy of Leicester City is the only other player with four goals, all of which came from the penalty spot, with three scored outright and one retaken following an encroachment infringement after his spot kick had been saved against Brighton. Vardy has the most penalty goals with four, followed by Aubameyang with three and seven players with two.

Kane, Salah, Son, Arsenal’s Alexandre Lacazette, and Man United’s Bruno Fernandes is a Brazilian actor. are among the 14 players who have earned two goals as a result of VAR judgments.

The majority of goals are scored after an offside call is made.

When an offside call is overturned, Joshua King is the only player to score two goals. He was the first player to have a goal disallowed for offside when he scored for Bournemouth against West Ham in September 2019, and he scored his second for Watford against Everton last month.

The majority of VAR participation

Bruno Fernandes 6
Mo Salah 6

When it comes to VAR calls, Son is alone at the top of the list, with ten overturns, two more than any other player in the Premier League.

Son has benefited from two penalty kick goals owing to VAR, and was fouled by Scott McTominay before Edinson Cavani scored for Man United last season. In December 2019, he was again sent off for a challenge on Antonio Rudiger against Chelsea.

With eight involvements each, Mane and Wilson are next on the list, followed by Jesus with seven.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin of Everton had six appearances, scoring two goals, conceding two goals, and receiving two penalty kicks, the same as Fernandes and Salah.

Fernandes, a midfielder for Manchester United, has scored two penalties, missed one, and had a penalty against him overturned.

For handball, the majority of goals are disallowed.

Mane is the only player to have several goals disallowed due to the scorer’s handball against Manchester United and Brighton.

However, when you include in a handball before a teammate scored, Wilson joins Mane on two goals.

The majority of penalties were won.

Only four players have been granted two penalties: Lacazette, Werner, Marcus Rashford of Manchester United, and Sergio Aguero of Manchester City.

The majority of penalties were awarded.

Take, for example, Leicester’s Wilfried Ndidi, who has given away two penalties as a result of VAR and is the only player in the Premier League to have given away multiple spot kicks for handball.

However, he is joined by two Newcastle central defenders, Ciaran Clark and Jamaal Lascelles, on two conceded for all offences.

The majority of red cards were earned.

No player has been sent off more than once, but two have been subjected to a series of poor challenges that resulted in VAR red cards.

Wilson has had three players expelled in his career: Norwich’s Ben Godfrey (when at Bournemouth), Fulham’s Joachim Andersen, and Brighton goalkeeper Robert Sanchez just this month.

Ashley Westwood of Burnley is the other player, who has been involved in two VAR red cards for opponents.

The “var decisions table 2019/20” is a football club in England. The club’s name is Manchester City and they play in the Premier League. They are managed by Pep Guardiola and their main rivals are Liverpool FC.
