With the source not being provided, it is hard to say why the NitronX Kodi Build is not working on Firestick / Android TV Box. If you have any doubts, feel free to check the installation video which shows a working NitronX Kodi Build.

In part 1 of this guide, we will take a look at the two main sources of builds for the Kodi/XBMC software, the official Kodi repository and the NitronX repository. In this blog post, we will show you how to install NitronX Kodi Build on Firestick / Android TV Box.

In this tutorial I will show you how to install the NitronX build on Kodi (now called Nitron Kodi build). You can use the instructions in this guide on FireStick / 4K, Fire TV / Cube, Android and iOS, Android TV, Windows, Mac, Linux and all devices that support Kodi.

NitronX or Nitron uses the Xonfluence skin and offers a comfortable and user-friendly layout. The Xonfluence skin is also used in another popular Xontech build.

Update: The Kodi version of NitronX is no longer available. Try other builds from our updated list of Kodi builds.

The Kodi version of Nitron is a streaming-friendly version, as it comes pre-loaded with many popular video add-ons for movies, series, cable TV, etc.

This version also works without any problems on low-spec devices (e.g. FireStick or Android TV box).

We have added this build to our list of the best builds for Kodi.

Attention KODI users: please read before continuing

Kodi addons / modules offer unlimited streaming content, but can also get you in legal trouble if you get caught watching movies / TV shows / sports for free. Kodi users are strongly advised to always connect a VPN when streaming online. A good Kodi VPN can hide your identity, bypass government surveillance, block content, and ISP throttling (which also contributes to buffer-free streaming).

I use ExpressVPN, which is the fastest and most secure VPN. It is very easy to install on any device, including the Amazon FireStick. Get 3 months free and save 49% on annual plans. There is also a 30 day money back guarantee. If you are not satisfied, you can always ask for a refund.

Part 1: Include unknown sources

This is the first part, because to get third-party constructs, such as. B. NitronX, the Unknown Sources option must be enabled. It is disabled by default.

Here are the steps:

Start the Kodi application. On the home screen, there is a gear icon in the top left corner.

1. Click on this icon and open the Kodi settings.

2. In the next window, select Systems from the following options

3. You can now see the add-ons on the left side of the next screen. Select/click on it

4. Now go to the right side of the same window.

Unknown sources can be found here. It must be enabled if it is disabled.

Just click it once

5. A message is displayed. To continue, press Yes.

This will configure the Kodi application to install NitronX Kodi builds.

Part 2: Installing Nitron Construction Assistant

Kodi Assistant is an addon that hosts builds and includes several useful tools. To install the NitronX version of Kodi, we first need to install the Nitron Wizard (which contains the version).

Perform the following steps:

1. Go back to the Kodi settings window (by selecting the cog icon on the home screen).

On the next screen, tap File Manager from the following options.

2. Now click on the Add Source option (it’s on the left and right, and you can click on both).

Double-click if you are using Kodi on your computer.

3. You should now see the following window

Here we click on the section where <None> is placed

4. In this window we see the following.

Here we enter the source URL http://nitronwizard.co.uk/repository.

Update: The Kodi version of NitronX is no longer available. Try other builds from our updated list of Kodi builds.

I double checked the URL to make sure I entered it correctly. Typing errors will cause installation problems later.

Press OK.

5. When you are back in this window, highlight the area where you want to enter the media source name.

You can choose any name

I choose the nitron.

Press OK.

6. You can now press the Back key once. You will return to the settings window

Now select Add-ons

7. In the next screen click on Install from Zip file.

8. In this pop-up window, you will find the name of the resource you entered earlier. Click on the name of the source (in our case: nitron).

9. Now click on the zip file that appears in the following screen: repository.NitronRepo.zip

10. Wait until Nitron Repo has been installed. It’ll take a few seconds

You should see the Nitron Repo add-on installed in the top right corner of the screen.

11. Now open the Install from archive option

12. In the next window you will see Nitron Repo. Browse and click.

13. Open the Add-ons option of the program

14. Then click on the Nitron Master button

15. In the next window we click on the Install button.

16. We’re waiting! A message about the installation of the Nitron Wizard add-on appears in the top right corner of the window.

17. Click the Reject button when this pop-up window appears (it appears immediately after the wizard is installed).

18. Press the Next button to continue (or just press the Back button).

19. Select the Build menu if you want to start installing the build immediately.

To move from the main screen to the assembly list, press Skip and move to the next section.

Part 3: Install the Kodi version of NitronX with the NitronWizard.

Now that you have the wizard installed, we can also install the NitronX version.

Perform the following steps:

1. Go to the Kodi home screen. Now go to the program menu > Add-ons

Press the Nitron main button

2. On the next screen, tap the (Nitron) Builds option.

3. Under Leia Builds, click on NitronX (a Kodi build renamed Nitron).

4. Click on New Setup

I prefer the fresh install because it resets Kodi to the default settings and gives me a fresh start.

You can use the default installation if you want to update your build or back up some of your saved Kodi data. However, builds work best when installed from scratch.

5. If you clicked Reinstall in the last step, you will see this pop-up window. Press the Next button to continue

6. The NitronX version has been downloaded. This may take a few minutes (depending on the load on the server and your connection speed).

7. After downloading the build, it will be installed. Again, it only takes a few minutes. So let’s wait and see.

When the installation is complete, Kodi will automatically close. You can restart the Kodi application and use the NitronX version.

Before you start streaming video with Kodi addons or modules, I want to warn you that everything you stream on Kodi is visible to your ISP and the government. This means that streaming copyrighted content (free movies, TV shows, live broadcasts and sports) can lead to legal problems.

Fortunately, there is a reliable way to hide all your streaming activities from your ISP and the government. All you need is a good VPN for Kodi. A VPN masks your original IP address and helps you bypass surveillance, ISPs and geographical restrictions on content.

Personally, I use and recommend ExpressVPN, the fastest and most secure VPN. It is compatible with all types of applications and streaming devices.

OPINION: We do not encourage copyright infringement. But what if you accidentally upload content from an illegal source? It is not always easy to distinguish between a legal and an illegal source.

So before you start streaming on Kodi, read here how to get VPN protection in 3 easy steps.

Step one: Purchase your ExpressVPN subscription HERE. It comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. This means you can use it for free for the first 30 days. If you are not satisfied with the service (which is unlikely), you can ask for a full refund.

Step two: Click HERE to download and install the ExpressVPN application on your streaming device. If you are using a FireStick, I have included the exact steps below, starting with step 4.

Step three: Click on the power icon to connect to the VPN server. That’s it. Now your connection is secure with the fastest and best VPN for Kodi.

The steps to install Kodi VPN on Fire TV devices are described below. If you have other broadcast devices, follow steps 1 to 3 above.

Step four: Sign up for ExpressVPN HERE (if you are not already a subscriber).

Step 5: Go to the Fire TV Stick home screen. Click the Search button and then the Search option (see figure below).

Step six: Type expressvpn into the search bar and select when it appears.

Seventh step: Click on the Download button.

Step 8: Open the ExpressVPN application and log in using the username and password you created when you purchased your ExpressVPN subscription.

Step 9: Click on the power icon to connect to the VPN server. That’s it. Now your FireStick is protected with the fastest VPN.

How to use NitronX Kodi build

To access the build, all you need to do is reopen Kodi. You will notice that the default Kodi user interface is gone and there is a new interface:

This version provides the following categories on the home screen that you can use for streaming:

  • Movies
  • television program
  • Developer selection
  • The most popular films
  • Music
  • Sport
  • Watercourse
  • I.O.

The structure has a standard layout with a main menu and submenus. When you select a category for streaming, themed titles appear at the top, related genres/categories appear in the submenu, and related addons appear at the bottom.

For example, in the image above, I selected the Movies category. The suggested titles are visible above the menu bar. Relevant categories, such as. B. Popular, First, Years, appear in the submenu. Moreover, you can see the related addons below.

NitronX offers several video plug-ins that come pre-installed upon release. To open the list of add-ons, select Nitron-X from the main menu and click on Video Add-ons from the submenu.

You can find addons like Deja Vu, Numbers, Bumblebee, ReleaseBB, Sportowa, The Magic Dragon, VooDoo and others.

But even though the version is updated regularly, many add-ons still don’t work.

How to configure Real Debrid with NitronX Build

There are several add-ons in the NitronX version of Kodi that can get multiple threads working. However, if you customize Real Debrid with the build, you will find that the quality of the streaming links has improved significantly.

That’s why I recommend installing Real Debrid at the same time as the build.

For this you need a subscription to Real Debrid. If you don’t already have one, register at https://real-debrid.com/.

The NitronX version of Kodi has a special Real Debrid area on the home screen.

Select Real Debrid from the main menu and click on the Real Debrid Authorize Here option.

Some addons use URLResolver, others ResolveURL. So alternately run the Authorize Real Debrid URLResolver and the Authorize Real Debrid ResolveURL, and follow the instructions below for each.

You will be asked to enter an authorization code.

In your browser, go to https://real-debrid.com/device.

Log in to your Real Debrid account (if you are not already logged in).

Enter the code in the Real Debrid authorization prompt

That’s about it for the NitronX for Kodi version. It looks like a simple, effortless assembly with a familiar layout. It has many pre-installed add-ons to help you get started immediately. You can also easily customize Real Debrid with this version. Overall, NitronX seems to be a decent version of Kodi. You can try.
